Nursing Home Manager
Salary up to £50,000 + bonus
Time Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside one of the UK's leading health and social care providers in selecting a talented Home Manager to head up the team at a care home in Manchester. This is a fantastic time to join a burgeoning company, and this role, in particular, offers an outstanding opportunity to become noticed as it is currently a high priority for the organisation. As such, we are seeking a strong manager with a proven track-record within the care home sector. The ideal candidate will possess experience of turning around a struggling service (or two!) and be a natural leader with the ability to hit the ground running.
This popular care home is able to accommodate up to 50 people and offers specialist care for those with various needs, including general nursing care, residential assistance, respite, and sensitive, dignified end-of-life care. The home also provides specialist care for individuals with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
The home has not had a CQC inspection recently, but there is a feeling that the home would require improvement if one happened today. With this in mind, an action plan has been put in place, with a huge amount of support from the senior management and regional team. We are looking for someone who can implement positive changes within the home. An ideal candidate would have worked in a troubleshooting capacity before and will be able to bring new, innovative ideas on how to develop the service. As a Home Manager, you will be offered comprehensive training and development opportunities, empowering you to take on even more senior positions should that be something of interest to you!
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, plus benefits, including:

Firstly and foremost you must come from a care background, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a management level role. You will have experience of managing challenging yet successful care services, building and developing teams and attaining strong commercial success. It would be an advantage to be nurse qualified with an active NMC pin however this is not essential.
Applicants will have a person-centred focus, be experienced, approachable, have excellent leadership skills and be adaptable to this companies' policies and procedures.
