IT Sales Advisor / Account Manager

A leading UK IT solutions and service provider are looking to hire a talented IT Sales Advisor / Account Manager to join a rapidly expanding sales team based in Stockport.

The IT Sales Advisor will be responsible for working in an office based tele-sales role, where the main purpose is to achieve the required level of activity to generate profitable sales and to hit sales targets. Therefore, the ideal Sales Advisor / Account Manager will come from a successful sales background.

Given the nature of the products and services offered, experience of selling to the educational sector would be very beneficial.

Responsibilities for the IT Sales Advisor / Account Manager:

- Make a high volume of high quality outbound telephone calls to new business prospects and existing customers in order to uncover their needs and sell appropriate products and services
- Deal promptly with enquiries from new business prospects and existing customers to maximize sales revenue and company profit.
- Accurately complete daily sales data to ensure orders are dispatched promptly and correctly and keep CRM system up to date
- Maintain excellent knowledge of all products and services offered; being able to fully explain and demonstrate the products when necessary
- Any other duties as specified by the, Team Leader, Sales Manager or Company Directors.
