An exciting opportunity for an intermediate/project level infrastructure design engineer on either an ongoing contract or permanent basis has arisen within the small infrastructure design team of this prestigious firm of civil/structural engineers.
The company itself has nearly 200 staff across several locations and is renowned for working with top architects. You must have a passion for design and be keen to work in a firm where engineers have outgoing personalities, enjoy their jobs and work together to achieve best practice and high quality designs.
Projects are often award winning buildings schemes and you would work in the team that designs the associated infrastructure works. You will be involved in design of estate roads and drainage and FRA's so you should have experience in these areas. This is not a post for a highways design engineer.
The Infrastructure team to work on a variety of projects, of all sizes and across all sectors, designing below ground drainage systems, roads, earthworks and external works and carry out flood risk and transport assessments. Ideally you should hold a good ICE-accredited degree in Civil Engineering, have excellent communication skills, a desire to succeed and progress your career. The successful candidate will have extensive experience on Microdrainage. You will take a lead in the technical delivery of civil engineering projects. Experience on Civils 3d and PDS is desirable but not essential.
You should have an outgoing personality and enjoy talking to people as well as have a passion for design work.
