Our client is looking for a high calibre, dynamic individual with a minimum of 2 - 3 years proven sales experience. A candidate with previous field sales experience is preferential however our client will consider a candidate with excellent sales experience looking to begin their career in field sales. The company provide an ongoing focus on training and development and there will be a continuous training plan throughout your career. The successful candidate will be bright and commercially astute. Candidates with excellent A Levels or a University Degree with strong sales experience will be highly considered. Location: Covering the South West and M4 corridor, considered candidates will reside within reasonable commuting distance. You will also occasionally cover London. Duties: Account manage existing businessDevelop new business and prospectsSource new leads, handling incoming leads, cold calling new clients, liaising with prospective clients and developing and enhancing already established clientsAccurate administration is a key aspect of the role, you will be expected to follow procedures fully and keep an organised desk at all timesAttend a minimum of 10 face to face meetings each weekWork proficiently to deadlinesAttend exhibitionsProficient at telephone sales and enjoy making outbound calls Client meetings begin at 9.00am and at times finish beyond the 5.30pm office hours. You will spend a lot of time on the road, please take this into account before applying for the position. Overnight stays will be required. You will be encouraged to come up with creative ideas for developing new revenue streams and will attend internal / external training courses, whilst attending monthly sales meetings in London and Basildon. The chosen individual will receive full support from management at all times in order to reach their full potential. The position is paying a basic salary of £20,000 - £25,000 with an achievable OTE of £10,000 per annum for the first year and commission is uncapped. After six months in the role the company will contribute towards the cost of a private gym membership. A company car, laptop and mobile will be provided and you will be invited to join the company private healthcare and pension scheme after 12 months in the position.
