A full-time Community Sports Hub Officer required. The location is negotiable within Argyll and Bute Council.
In order to strengthen our Sport and Leisure team, Argyll and Bute Council in partnership with Sportscotland, currently wish to appoint to the above post.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead and strategically manage the development of Community Sport Hubs in Argyll and Bute. This will involve increasing the range of sport and physical activity offered, developing clubs, growing sport and physical activity participation and engaging with the community and local and national partners.
This post will be offered on a fixed term contract through to 31st March 2019. The hours to be worked are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
This is a key appointment to support current, and develop new opportunities for pupils to participate in regular, frequent, safe and fun sport and physical activity.
