Job Description

Care Supervisor: An ambitious, energetic, and capable Care Administrator, Care Coordinator or Care Supervisor is required on a part time or full time basis to join a highly-regarded care-in-the-home company in their Torbay office. Join a family run homecare company that is working in the community to deliver the highest standards of care to customers in their own homes across South Devon. The Care Supervisor will have a varied and rewarding role helping the company grow and succeed, and responsible for supporting the happiness and welfare of the care teams and customers. The ideal candidate needs strong administrative, communication, multitasking and PC skills to succeed and progress further in this fast-paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities
- Meeting and signing up new customers requiring domiciliary care
- Assisting in interviewing and managing paperwork for new recruits
- Writing detailed support plans which reflect the needs and choices of the customer
- Reviewing and monitoring new and current customers
- Liaising and problem solving with other health and social care professionals to ensure customers are receiving the correct support at home
- On-call duties 1 week in 4
- Deliver care to customers as and when needed
- Efficiently planning their own time in the office and out in the community
- Working with the rest of the team to provide a happy workplace for staff
- Working with the rest of the team to keep customers happy and safe in their own homes.

Skills and Experience
- Experienced in office procedures and computer literate
- Can manage and direct people in a fast-moving environment
- Be a reliable, dynamic, ambitious, organised, hardworking self-starter with a sense of humour
- Experience of Domiciliary Care desirable
- Working toward QCF 3 Health and Social Care desirable
- A full driving license and access to a car.
