Audit & Accounts Senior required by established Chartered Accountants based in Leeds. Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on skills and experience.
We have been providing high quality accounting and business solutions to a wide variety of small and medium-sized businesses in Yorkshire for over 80 years. Due to recent expansion, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and talented Audit & Accounts Senior to join our friendly and professional team. The successful candidate will have a general practice background (ACA or ACCA qualified) with good technical skills in the area of auditing with some accounts preparation experience.
You will be working with a diverse range of business entities, mainly limited companies, across a broad range of industry sectors. We anticipate that there will be a greater emphasis on audit rather than accounts work. Experience of basic Corporation Tax computations would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given. There will also have the opportunity to undertake ad-hoc assignments of a specialist nature as the opportunity arises (full training will be given where required).
The role will work as part of a team on most assignments and be responsible for training more junior members of staff along with reviewing their work.
